    I already have one of these and find them excellent. It is a good idea to remove the batteries and store over the winter months. They might ingress rain water and therfore become useless.

    Had a underground water pipe freezing problem during the last extremely low temperatures(down to -17 degrees)
    in January 2011 in Ireland.The Hozelock AC Pro solved the problem by allowing the water to flow for 1min every 2 hours over 4 settings during the night.A clever and good value products even if you dont need your garden watered.
